Manage your PodCast Image
The ease and speed we can record, capture and upload video and audio has opened doors to provide a new platform for delivery of information. Have you decided on the image you want to convey?
Pod cast recording and video feeds as we know is being able to upload audio recordings onto RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds or Youtube and related video sites, for all the world to download on their iPods or other models of MP3 players and/or through their computers.
Relationships with the public whether delivering by the popular web log, ezine, corporate web site, audio/video pod cast, will exhibit a brand (or persona) which will be deciding factors in the public eye. That rule about making first impressions in the first 30 seconds, in the off-line world will also apply online. Difference is they may or may not be able to see you but the style one uses to present themself or their information online, still sends a message, ‘Is this rubbish or good stuff?’
The best methods to deliver that message of being a professional is to conduct yourself as one and the public, media and other related professionals, may stop to take a look and watch or listen to your show. Can you imagine yourself being contacted by a journalist, television station or radio host regarding your pod cast or video feed?
Creating a successful video/audio podcast will have to be interesting and will require creativity to deliver entertaining and informative audio/video podcasts. You are the host and have control of the content and how it will be best delivered. Factor in staying legal and your show just may be on the road to continued success.

I am on a one person crusade to get rid of long boring intros on all podcasts, broadcasts and other programs. Start to pay attention to how amazingly ridiculous most introductions are. They are boring and set the tone for more boredom.
Just start the show. If you must have music make it 5 seconds. Then, really give the listener something very good right at the beginning.
Watch any old episode of the TV sitcom, "Friends", and you'll see what I mean. They always jumped right in with something strong. And their musical theme, even in those days, was short.
People have simply not examined the old tired, stale, intro, so it persists. It has no place at all. So don't do it. A good host can work all that 'intro' information into the actual show if they are creative.
Thanks for the hub.

Hi Trusted Marketing, I agree that doing podcasts requires good presentation and should get to the point quickly rather than drawn out with irrelevant material. Good points to keep in mind. Thank you for sharing your comments and visiting. :)
