How to make a website from scratch.
By Dame Scribe
First Time Web Site
A website put together by yourself will give you a great sense of pride and accomplishment. The first time for my own website went as follows :
- Registered for a web host that allows uploads of your own files.
- FTP program to upload.
- Print Shop Web Designer
- Used Free clip art from the Internet
- Used Free HTML codes
- Experimented with the various design tools in my Print Shop Web Designer.
- Designed and set my text and images
- Saved
- Uploaded
I found it very easy to get a web site up. This was a few years ago and am sure the process hasn't changed too much. I'd also recommend if you can't afford paying for a domain to get a free account where you can eventually upgrade to paying for your own domain. There are many hosts available --> here.
The skills you gain and knowledge you learn along the way are beyond priceless. You will thoroughly enjoy this project. Good luck!

I think WordPress is a very good tool as well. Sure it's a "blogging" software, but you can set it up to act just like a website. With a good hosting plan you just one-click install it and it's up and running.
Hi Bala, it may be due to some site glitches that have occurred lately or the browser. Thank you for alerting me to the problem and appreciate your visit. :)
