Happenstance upon a Clash

Good Heavens! What is wrong with that stranger who so despises you. What on earth did you or me, do? Well, absolutely nothing. To be put in this position, as the source of problems (blame), and considered an irritant, to this person, is just an open display of hostility and may hint, as an abusive personality. Other common behaviors may include disrespect, jealousy, envy and possibly serious, unresolved personal issues, or undiagnosed mental health disorder. You are and may have, EVERYTHING this person does NOT have.

So, chin up and smile. You are blessed. Honest hard work, and a friendly nature does take us far. We earn friends, respect, even love among our friends, and colleagues. We attain wisdom and kernels of knowledge with our circles of close and trusted, friends.

It is very sad when another person covets what you have for there is strife and hostility that follows. Attempts to isolate and topple you will occur. Unfortunately, there's people who think 'malicious gossip' is truth. You will learn very quickly, who truly are your friends. They will stand by your side, and even confront this nasty person.

Learning when to step up

I, myself have done so and even attained a grudging respect for it and endless gratitude from the victim for speaking against such unbecoming behaviour. How many of us would stand up and say something for another? aka a 'good Samaritan'. I look around me and maybe at you, and ask that question in my mind. One's true character comes out at a time of crisis.

Fear can drive people to act out of desperation. I think we should learn to understand this characteristic, and maybe find forgiveness for some acts but outright acts of cruelty towards others, can be hard to accept. Some actions seem too incomprehensible and abhorrent.

I talk with youths and tell them to watch people, and see if they can identify who are kind from the indifferent. Actions do speak volumes. So, do not let fear rise when that nasty person has set their ugliness upon you. Stand up and know, somebody out there will join and help you put a stop to it. We can't stop believing there's no innate goodness in ALL people based on one bad apple. There are still others, who know, humans have flaws but can change for the better. They just got to 'want' to and it's not our place, to tell them to do so, we can only offer the idea.

I believe that if we as adults can set a example to our youths then we pass a INDIRECT message of hope for our World and their Future. As for that nasty person, they will bow out, or yell and stomp off to seek out another victim, and we may have to stand together once again till they learn, we are here for Peace. The other thought has always been, maybe people should be allowed to have those types of people, committed for intensive psychiatric help.
