Tickle my Nose Hairs

Learning Perfume and Cologne
A person must sniff to detect a faint odor or to enjoy a fragrance to it’s fullest. Sniffing will fire up your nasal receptor cells like mad, when or if you catch a certain smell because smell and taste are the chemical sensors in the human body. We sample molecules of the odors being sensed.
Smell has a important role in human behavior. Depending on mood, a whiff of perfume or cologne and natural body odors can elicit a positive or negative emotional response. To have a scent that will leave or create a sense of memorability, desirability and delectability is a goal for many women and men as part of their grooming session and the social public scene.
Aroma therapy and perfume industries have been quite successful with the promotion and sales of fragrances. Ingredients of perfume and colognes are mainly water, essential oils and alcohol. The use of pleasant smelling plants, animals or synthetics have set the foundations for the many creations of various fragrances.
Perfume and cologne should be used to enhance your own natural body scent. After all flooding peoples’ nasal senses with a overpowering dose of perfume or cologne will only induce dry heaves, coughing or allergic reactions and have people avoiding you the rest of the evening.
People can be easily excited with use of our available senses. Sight, sound, touch, smell and taste. Successful use of a combination of all the senses or most of these can help achieve the goal of attracting the one you are seeking out.
The recommendations and tips on wearing and using perfume or cologne are;
–Layers, start with a lotion, if available, then apply your perfume or cologne and they will last longer together.
– Spray your pulse points and parts of our body that have motion. The mix with your own natural body oils will last longer, smell better and smell more like you.
– Association, wear the same scent daily and people will remember you by a particular scent.
– Notes and letters, lightly spritz notes and letters.
– Clothing, light spritz inside jackets and coats to be reminded of you.
– Bedding, lighly spritz pillows for night time dreams of you.
Human emotions are strongly moved by smells and why not take advantage of this to make a memory? And don’t forget to take a peek at the reactions and smile back. Let us know your favorite perfume or cologne! Read more --> here.

Comments and Thoughts
Thank you for the tips.
Been buying oils from this one company purebodyoil.com. They have a lot of selection. I really like their essential oils. Great for making your own perfume. Soap making they do okay, but the perfume and cologne is great.
Hi Mike, I agree that not all perfumes are equal for everybody and we should look for that which suits our own preferences. Thank you for visiting and sharing your comments. :)
Couldn't agree more. Very well written article. Perfume is a very personal choice. I find it interesting how many people post in 'ask' websites requesting people to recommend them 'the best' perfume out there.
Hi Perfumelover, I agree that people do react quite differently to perfume. I guess it depends on the sensitivity of their olfactory senses? lol. Thank you for sharing your comments and visiting. :)
I agree with what you say about perfume being such a personal thing. It's funny how one perfume can smell like perfection to one person and completely uninspiring to another. Don't you think? :)
My favorite perfumes -- Oscar de la Renta, White Diamonds and Chanel No.5. :)
